the c20xe is not a lanos engine, it fits the lanos, but its from an astra mk2 gte.
if ur looking to replace the front suspension completely you can use the front struts from an astra mk2, but u will need to change the bearings or something to make the driveshafts fit.
there are plenty people on here who know a lot more about this topic, so give it a few hours and wait for a few more replies.

Cargo cultism is a beautiful thing as long as you never fall for it.
If the lanos shafts are anything like the nexia ones, you wont need to change the hubs on the mk2 struts. If they're like corsa ones, you might get away with changing the outer cv boots.
c20xe's also came in early Vauxhall Caavaliers, Calibras, and mk3 astras. Which are Opel Vectra As, Calibras, and Kadett F's respectivly.
Tbh, i dont know why you would need to use mk2 struts. I thought the springs would fit the lanos struts no problem, from a Kadett E or F [Astra mk2 or 3]
As for the gearbox, the lanos uses a big block box, so the spines on the box side of things should be the same as the splines on a mk2 strut? This is just speculation, you would either need to wait on someone who's done this, or has checked it. Or ofc, you could check it yourself.
