Pop/clicking sound coming from my front passenger side wheel

There is a pop/clicking sound coming from my wheel area. But it only happens when I press down on the brake. As soon as i let go, the sound goes away. I'm also not 100% sure but I think it also pops when i go over a bump. Does anybody have any idea of what it could be?? Thanks

Check suspension components, bushes etc.

Mainly by the sounds of it, the bottom ball joint on the wishbone, strut top, and maybe the wishbone mount bushes.

check the wheel bearings aswell. you never know.

They dont usually pop, and wouldnt really make a noise when braking in a straight line.

But it is always worth cecking it anyway, even if its not the source of the pop, if it's wobbly, it needs fixed.

Do you think it could be the cv joint? I looked at everything and it's all tight. And the cv boot leaked all the grease

99% sure thats it!

get the CV fixed (put back grease and replace boot) and don't forget to do the same check on the other side as those things tend to die at the same time

also check the pins holding the caliper to its bracket... those can corrode by time and usage and create enough play to make the caliper knock on the bracket in bumps and create a sound similar to a busted suspension... it is easy to test that as you will try to move the caliper arround when it is on the bracket... if it moves around then the pins are corroded and you need a new set

needles to say that the mentioned test has to be done when the calipers are COLD.
