hello everyone,
guys i've got a 2004 Epica and want to change the rims from the stock ones (ie the 205/65 r15's) to 17 inch rims. but one thing i had a problem with was the size.
i really dont know which sizes would fit, (the dealership wouldnt help with it). i know the bolt patterns are 4-114.3 but will 215/50 r17 fit or should i get 205/50 r17?
also while looking thru the gallery i saw this beautiful looking ride
and i wanted to know.. (if any of you has an idea)
1. what rims are those
2. has the car been lowered.
Magnus/Epica rims question?

Hope this helps a bit. They have more fitment information on their website. I believe the car in your photo has had the suspension lowered.

Ok... the stock 205/65/15 tires are 25.6" in diameter.
So you need to pick a tire that is realatively close in diameter.
205/50/17 = 25.1" ( ideal rim should be 17 X 6.5" )
225/45/17 = 24.9" ( ideal rim should be 17 X 7.5" )
235/45/17 = 25.3" ( ideal rim should be 17 X 8" )
245/40/17 = 24.7" ( ideal rim should be 17 X 8.5" )
245/45/17 = 25.7" ( ideal rim should be 17 X 8" )
I personally would go for the 225/45/17 tires myself.
I guess it depends on what size of rim you plan to get... 7.5" is the most common.

thanks for the replies guys.. much appreciated
Erfinder, how do u go about finding those diameter's?
and about the 225/45 17's, well that does sound like sweet setup but while checking out prices of tires... that particular size was reatailing for about 700USD (for a set of 4) (after conversion from my local currency) and that price is a huge turnoff for me :P.
