•first pic is of the Lemans (left) and lanos (right).

the Lemans GSE/GSi is the same as the lanos.
i forgot my not pad at the shop so I'll post dimensions tomorrow.
•i had taken apart the lanos calipers to get them ready for paint so i'll post pics of those when they are done.
•this is a pic of the H&R sport spring (L), the Lemans (C), and the lanos (R)
![Image](http://upload3.postimage.org/161188/100_3076.jpg)
i will compare the stiffness of these OE springs.
if the Lemans spring is softer then the lanos then using a lanos sport spring on a Lemans may not be a good option. it could provide too much drop and cause rubbing.
i haven't been able to compare the lanos and the GSE/GSi spring.
•these are of the spring perch, lanos on the left and Lemans on the right.
![Image](http://upload3.postimage.org/161640/100_3078.jpg)
if you take a look at the springs and there perches you can see that the base of the Lemans is wider then the lanos.
this means that lanos lowering springs are not a direct fit to the Lemans and vise-versa.
however, i will modify my Lemans strut assemblies to use the lanos springs and i will post that when i get there.

![Image](http://upload3.postimage.org/161799/100_3081.jpg)
•another thing to consider is the wheel bearing.
the Lemans uses 22 teeth
![Image](http://upload3.postimage.org/162015/100_3089.jpg)
and the lanos uses 33 teeth.
![Image](http://upload3.postimage.org/162193/100_3085.jpg)
this means that the wheel bearings between the Lanos and the Lemans are not interchangeable
•as a side note the location for the steering links are the same.
•for now these are the pics i have of the comparison but there will be more to come.
•i would have posted this next section in... www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2701 but i can't add a comment to it
this is the easiest way to pull the strut cartridge from a Lanos, Lemans, Kadett E, Astra MK2 and so on.
![Image](http://upload3.postimage.org/161833/100_3095.jpg)
start by clamping the 'Cartridge Nut' in a vice (strut upside-down)
![Image](http://upload3.postimage.org/161945/100_3096.jpg)
us a 3/8 drive socket extension through the hole for the steering link.

and use a pry bar and twist off.
