strut bar tubeing

Post by daewoomofo »

can any one tell me what diameter and wall thickness tubeing i should use to make a rear strut bar for my lanos. i looked for the strut bar how to, but since i recently reformated this computer i dont have adobe on here so the pdf on the how to is a no go for now. if any one has any idea on the correct tubing it would be greatly apreciated. thank you

thats a 7 adn a half foot of solid aluminum 1 inch stock, i know solid its over kill, but its free. so now its time to start the design stages of this thing. it should be easy enough, the only thing i need to do is design it so it clears my huge ass speaker box.

Is it expensive to have aluminum brazed where you live. It cost a fortune here

if my plan that im working on works i wont need to get it welded (they tig weld aluminum, not braze it) so that wont be an issue
