How to remove Forenza rear Bumper?

Post by bsharon »

how do you take off the rear Bumper? Is there anything I should be aware of before I start removing screws?

I have to get access to the holes in the frame that the bumper is covering to install a trailer hitch.

then I will be using one of these to carry my new Pit Bike.

Man I was just looking for some advice.
I can't believe soo many people looked but no reply's

O well.

I just though that someone would know more about this than me.

Either it is really easy and people don't feel like explaining it to me.
Or no one has tried and no one knows how to do it.?
But either way I must not wait anymore
I am going to take it off with a blow torch if I have to .
and If I have to drive around with no bumper its all your fault! lol

j/k

Give me a week or two and I'll tell you. I gotta put my rear bumper back on, but I didn't remove it, whiteraven did. You can PM him and ask...he told me it was a pain, probably one of those annoying things where theres all these hidden screws/bolts

Well I will say it again. lol
I am an idiot.
sorry but I didn't see the larger access holes because they had rubber plugs in them.
but once I removed them I was able to fish my bolts up there and through the holes and the thing is installed now.
I will upload a picture in the album tonight or sometime soon.
it went on in 20 min. haha

so I was going to use a cargo carrier to carry my pit bike, but those weight just a little too much for my Forenza's rear shocks.
so I will be using my small trailer, I just wanted to get away without using my trailer.

I will post a pic of the contraption later too. haha
with my Car and trailer and Bike all hooked up. should be a great picture. lol
Shows the Forenza power.
or at least a great way to kill one!
yikes!
