Replacing Springs

Post by da_woo »

Hey guys...
Went and tried installing my king springs in the front today and came across a few problesm... any ideas and help would be appreciated beofre taking to a licenced suspension dealer.
First e tried bashing the hub out of the assembly but did not wan to budge, so we tried t remoce the lower ball joint but found the ball joint removal tool was too big too fit inside due to the CV boot and assembly... any one else run into problems?

Michael

PS: this is on a Daewoo Lanos Se 98 HB

you have to work at it you might need a smaller pickel fork, the ball joints are a PITA to get out, and you will prolly end up damaging them, the same goes with the tie rod ends. but it is very doable, ive done it myself
