it's hard to take it off just like that...

You need to remove the black thing on the sides of your car, sand the surface, then cover it with filler to hide the holes and fill the gap/hole, then respray it...

It's costly mod... just to remove it...

Better then that would be to take the black thing down from the car and spray it with primer then respray it with the same colour of your car...

PS
Sorry 4 the bad english... It's technical so i'm a bit lost with the technical terms! :D

heh, well thats odd as there are no holes on the other side of the black thing.

Iv started by useing sticky stuff remover and a LOT of patience.

Iv managed to get the black things off, however underneath there is this form of tape which is very have to take off.
Is there anything tat might be able to get this off quite easily?

e.g. industrial sticky stuff remover :D

Yeah your best bet is to spray the bump strip the same colour as the car as removing it is both expensive to do properly and if it's a diy job time consuming if you really wanted rid of it that badly you could check a breakers for door without it then its just a bolt on job

You could try a bit of tar and bug it lifts off alot of stuff i would use it normally after removing a vinyl sticker from a car to remove the residue but once you get it off the should be no work left as the bump strip is not receded into the body panels by the looks of it. just a good polish and it should come up a treat
