The front guards will need to be roled slightly as well, the only scrub you get is going up a kirb or driveway faster than normal. the rear need to be roles and a few metal parts cut out of the rear.
the front of gaurd (on the rear) needs to be either roled or cut, mine was the sport so i had to cut the side skirt neatly for it all to work nice. I also extended my bump stop an inch.
once that was done, the only drama on 18 was the harsh ride. Obvioulsy if you have the dollars you should be able to get an offset and a width of 18 that will fit.
I didn't have to remove splash gaurds or anything.
Mine were 225-30-18 tire on a 18x7 rim
