Thanks.

Its hard to say what the overall tire size is since you probably have 17" tires mounted on that wheel.

do the wheels rub now if you hit a big bump with you and a couple of people in your car? if it does then you'll definately rub with the lowering springs a lot more. a solution to this is to roll your fenders so that little 1/4 inch metal is folded in soyou don't have to worry about it.

save a tree, eat a beaver.
Its only rubbed with my mom driving lol. She didnt see a huge dip and went through it at like 50 and the back rubbed with like 5 pll in the car and a trunk with a few bags of dirt (for some reasone she took my car to pick up her garden supplys ) and would gettin my fenders rolled cost a fortune?
Thanks

x2. 35s would be best but you can make work with what you got.daewhorider wrote:you should have gone with 30's, tire height that is. I think youll be fine ive seen 18s on em with no problem.
It depends what his offset is. If his wheels are rubbing on the inside it wont help much.lanos2001 wrote:do the wheels rub now if you hit a big bump with you and a couple of people in your car? if it does then you'll definately rub with the lowering springs a lot more. a solution to this is to roll your fenders so that little 1/4 inch metal is folded in soyou don't have to worry about it.

I have installed intrax lowering springs on my 2002 nubira, with 17"x7" rims.
Front came out good, rear looks like junk, i don't like the rear gaping gap. Does anybody know a good set of springs to lower the rear more? I went with intrax because of the close to stock ride quality. Does eibach springs do the same thing in the rear?
I think 17's are too big unless it's slammed to the point of uslessness. I'm using stock shocks and pleased with the ride quality, still feels stock, but there's an intermittent clicking noise now. I'm planning to go with 16"s or 15's, and performance shocks to hopefully stop the clicking.
I need the rear lower but with same ride quality^^^^
it looks worse in person^^^

How much did it lower the car? My springs lowerd the car 2 in the front and 1.75 in the back(at least thats what the box said). Ride qualty is bad but thats due to my small tires and stiffer springs.
Heres a pic
I can only fit one finger between the gap in the front and barly two in the back.

They are H&R Springs and the rims are retarted... there 17.5 lol... I have removed every thing from my car to try to make it a little lighter... i have removed the spare tire. Trunk floor, Fabric stuff on the underneath of the hood. but all together thats only like 35 puonds. And if im going over 80 EVERY little bump makes me bottom out lol7down wrote:Very nice. What kind of springs are you using? And those are 17"s?
The intrax I have lowered the front 1.75 and rear 1.5
The front looks lowered, but I think the rear remained the same. I can fit 2 fingers in front and 2.5 fingers in the rear lol.
