Clear side guard indicators...

Post by mr_sikma »

Hey,

Has anyone fitted any clear side guard indicators to replace the big ugly orange ones?

If so, what type and pics if possible ;)

Thanks

I just used universal ones and cut the old ones off and replaced wires.

^^^ Did they fit straight in? I know how to get the old ones out, and I have found a few clear indicators but they are too big for the holes! I dont wana mod the guards!

TIM... cheers 4 the link ;) As above did the commy ones fit straight in? Didnt have to modify the indicator plastics to fit them in the holes at all?

Thanks

They covered the holes nicely yeah, didnt want to drill to screw in so used some bolts and nuts to hold it in place.

Glue was a bit extreme and awkward if you need to change a bulb.

No, they're not a drop in replacement. I had to file the cylinder part of the indicator where the bulb socket screws in and the plastic retaining arm. They were just a little to fat for the hole.
