!!!SOME HELP NEEDED FROM TURKEY!!!FOR LACETTI
Hi,
I've got a Chevrolet Lacetti(Nubira) 2004 1.6 16V SX. I want to do changes on my car. What I want to do on my car is:
1)Place some spring on and lower it
2)Put Xenon lights
3)Upgrade the engine power(I have a box airfilter)
4)Put new wheels and tires
I couldn't find a suitable spring set. I've found and going to buy the Xenon headlights. I'm thinking about replacing the exaust with a quite and a performance giving exaust. And I want to put 17" 215/45.
What i need is; does anybody know what springs i can buy? What exaust i need to buy and what other changes i can make to power up my car? I don't really know the bolt distances(I hope you would understand what i mean,i have 4 bolts on my wheels)? Does anybody know? Can anybody give me some suggestions about the wheels?
I'm waiting from you guys. Thanks alot

hey man welcome aboard, for lowering your car you can get Intrax lowering springs 1.5" drop all around.
power for your car is to install a CAI (cold air intake) not SRI (short ram air) cuz it will suck only hot air from your
engine bay.
You can also install grounding wires and upgrade also the power wire connected on the back of the alternator.
You can also change your sparkplug to NGK V-groove but I think your car came with the NGK 2 lead sparkplug, mine came with them then I changed them for Bosch super 4 didn't like them and now I changed them for the NGK V-groove.
Also they aren't much performance product for our cars on the market yet.
for the wheels the bolt pattern is 4x114.3 so all wheels with this pattern will fit.
Experts:
Anyone correct me if I put something wrong or forgot to put more stuff.

I'ven been reading the topics for a long time. Yes you are right; there is not many products for our cars. And also there is not many topics for us here neither. Could you tell me if there is a specific topic for lacetti new parts and stuff? I want to follow the news for lacetti.
I also found B-G lowering springs for Lacetti. This is a tip from me to you my friend .

well mostly I'm here cuz they give good tips and advices on how to put things and change thing on my car (sparkplugs, fuel filter, fuel pump and so it goes on), and also there are alot of Lacetti (Optra,Forenza,Nubira) owners here and we all learn from each other.
There isn't a specific topic for Lacetti here.
but you don't have to worry, If you have a problem we are here to help.
And I thought they were only RS-R springs (1.2"all around) and Intrax lowering springs (1.5" all around).
I forgot to say that the wheels must have 4x114.3 bolt pattern and the offset must be 40.
Thanx for the tip is there a website that I can checked them (B&G springs) out?

I know the 2.0 lacettis wheels are 4x114.3. The 1.6l maybed different but I'm not sure. Make sure you get light wheels as that helps performance more than you'd think. Remember the bigger the wheel you go the lighter you'll want it since more weight will be on the outside wheres its harder to push/stop. If your willing to give up some braking/acceleration for nice looking wheels or bigger wheels for more tire width and lower profile tires (handling). Then I'd say max is 20lbs per wheel. Personally for me I wont buy wheels if they are over 16lbs each.
I'm not sure if this is easy in your Country but here you can just go to a muffler shop and get a crinkle bent exhaust made up. If you wanna dish out the extra bucks you can get a nice custom mandrel bent exhaust done but if your not looking to make alot of hp I dont think the extra moneys worth it. Go to a muffler/exhaust shop and tell them you want either a 2.25" exhaust from the cat-back with a high performance muffler and resonator or a 2" exhaust piping from the cat-back with a performance muffler. It's usually cheaper to pick a muffler out yourself from somewhere other than an exhaust shop as they overcharge for those extras.
Also there are sway bars for our cars, they are freakin amazing for the handling. Definitly one of the best bangs for the buck suspension wise. More info here: http://www.suzuki-forums.com/index.php? ... st&p=14629
Also there is a CAI for the 2.0. Dunno if it'd work for your car though. Get a picture of your engine bay and I can gelp you out with it. Anyways more info here: http://www.suzuki-forums.com/index.php? ... st&p=16802
For lowering springs I recommend Apex over anything else but they are hard to find. The intrax are the easyiest to find and the next best thing, they are also the cheapest. I wouldnt recommend the RS-R springs. If you wanna dish out the extra cash Boshart motorssports is coming out with coil-overs in June. I think there will be two versions, fully adjustable and a cheaper lesser adjustable version. The fully adjustable one is $1,500usd but well worth it.
Anyways, I'm a bit tipsy right now so hopfully this makes sense

yes I saw them but I still think they are for the older Nubira (I know it is written year: 98 and up) but I don't really think that they are for the newer Daewoo's.melihyalcin1906 wrote:http://www.sfxperformance.com/search/au ... rer=Daewoo

But If you want to buy them go ahaed, I wouldn't buy them.
This is the site for the Intrax springs:

one more tip If you want to search stuff for your car, always put Suzuki Forenza in the search bar.
easier cuz it's a car they know well in the US.
