Subframe X-brace

Post by Stefan »

Thought this may be of use to those owners of Daewoo cars with a similar subframe to the Astra. An x-brace for the subframe. It should tie the lower suspension arm mounting points together and to the bodyshell much better than the stock subframe. I made it up over a couple of days....

Very VERY nice!
Every day, more & more I think how much I need to buy a welder and this just adds to the list of reasons!

Those are some nice welds you have there. Yes, I know they are a little lumpy, but better than mine will be when I start teaching myself to weld.

I am thinking of stripping my parts Lanos down so I can learn how to improve the on I drive.

Keep up the great work & show us the pics of your progress. :)
