What color is my car ?

Today , my car is scratched. I am trying to paint by myself , what color of paint should I buy ?

aztec silver ? silver grey? sumbeam silver? silver metallic??......etc

u open the hood and look at the little badge stuch to the care from inside
it says car color
and it has the colors number or name
thats it

Color of 2002 lanos is 95U ,but I can only find the silver paints for lanos ( model before 9

, which are SAB (PL9123), AND 92U ( W1-C). (I tried to find paint 95U in GM,no results)

I will try SAB for my car, 92u seems too bright .

when i did my hood scoop, it was actually a chryslet color that came up as a match. i went to place that uses computer images to match the color perfectly. just a thought

You and I have basically the same car. Dark green sedan code 42U. I also found that Dupli-color paint for Chyrslers is damn near a dead on hit. I painted my side mirrors the same colors as my car and the paint is perfect, not even a single shade off. I just wished I saved the caps so that I could post it on here.

I just basically eyeballed it and it turned out ok. However, I'm blessed with the gift of guess.

Today, I went to GM holden, they do have 95U :P ( AUD12.00, a very small nail polish bottle

).

Any way , waiting for the order on Monday.

Hi all
I have a few scratches on my Lanos that need touching up and was thrilled to see the table above with the codes and colours. However after checking my colour it is not on the table above. The colour I have is 27U and is a purple/blue colour. Can anyone tell me the name of this colour and how I can go about getting a small amount. Here in the UK Halfords is where we can get touch-up pens which are ideal however they do not stock this particular colour (could tell just by looking!!!). Any info appreciated thanks.
