Mirror sideview on Leganza Difference between 2001 and other

I have a 2001 leganza- Drivers side mirror is supposedly different than the model used on 99 00 and 02 Can anyone shed ant light on the differences. Can I modify or caulk! Mine is cracked and I bought a 2000 to fix it.
I currently own two
different 2001 CDX Leganzas
