AVEO headlamps...

Hi all,
I have Aveo 4 door, european specs ( 1.4, 8v engine ). The headlamps facia are clear plastic not glass. Is that plastic scratchproof or not? How should I care for this? It is funny may be, but I like to see and be seen so it is very important to me. Will appreciate any idea.

It can be scratched, chipped by rocks and also etched by sand and abrasive materials as you drive.

You may want to cover the lights with a thin film of protective plastic like this:

Thanks a lot, will think it over. Shipping from US is as aexpensive as the foil. May be I will find it somewhere in Europe. Anyway I know what to look for
