vectra dti trani

Post by gse_turbo »

does anyone know the hp and torque from the Vectra TDI? i'm wondereing if the trani from those wouldn't be a good upgrade being as turbo diesels are suposed to have a ton of torque.

well the 2001 Vectra 2.0 DTi Turbo diesel puts out:
99bhp at 4000 rpm
170lb/ft at 1500 rpm

so i'd imagine that the '98 model produces either less or a similar amount.

how does the torque compare to other models? say with the f28? would it be fair to say that the F18 FWD is uqual to the F28 AWD?

X20DTL 2.0 turbo diesel, without intercooler, badged "Di"
X20DTH 2.0 turbo diesel, with intercooler, badged "DTi"

also, the DTH engine has a revised version ECU of the DTL engine.

i read a few posts on a Vauxhall forum, cnt remember which one, will try to find it again, but someone on there was running a 300bhp C20LET with F18 trans. and another guy had 240bhp w/ nitrous C20XE with F18 trans. both had no problems (excl. burnt out clutches - lol)
