Brake Pads Don't Fit???

Post by m00ncrickit »

I have a Daewoo Lanos 1.6 and I was about to reline my brakes and the pads I picked up at Murray's Auto Parts were too big. The pads themselves were the same size but they weren't the same shape.

My Pads look like this

The Pads I bought were shaped like this (I actually wanted to pickup the EBC pads but am now afraid they won't fit.)

Anyone know why my lanos has different brakes than they should be?

Your stock calipers are DAC type. See the marking on them. You got pads for the TEVES calipers.
Look here http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtop ... ke+caliper .

I really appreciate the response... Yeah the EBC pads for the TEVES caliper are the DP2760... the ones I need are the DP21209. Awesome!!! Thanks.
