unfortunately there was a split in the year 2000 production and some can use them and others can't, at least according to tirerack.com. They only have the green stuff pads for the earlier vins and everywhere else is twice as expensive as them, anyone know what vaxhaul shares the same breaking system as the later model lanos'?

I got a set of Ray Bestos pads for the Lanos but they won't work for the reason you just stated. I still have them. Maybe they are the style you need. They are red.

www.ajusa.com

email them and tell them your issue. i ordered my original set of yellowstuffs from there only to get the newer style pads. they sorted it out with ebc though.

COMPATIBILITY

~Vauxhall Astra (91-98), calibra, cavilier

the box has those words stamped right on the side. the pads aren't made for daewoo, they are the vauxhall pads that just so happen to be the same. the part number for the yellow stuff, is DP4760

that number IS NOT greenstuff, but it will help you with cross-refrence for fitment

Well, to be honest with you, I had EBC green stuf, and I was not too impressed with them. But this was on Lemans, hopefully things are different on Lanos. Give us some feedback once you get them installed.

ok... here is my understanding, based on some searching and some crawling under the car today...

the 1999 models that are MANUAL transmission, VIN number 447433 or BELOW are the teves pads (have the t-shaped end as listed there in my last post). the auto cars in that year, as well as the post vin number cars have the DAC pads (the alternate style). ebc makes BOTH sets, but you have to be very specific when ordering them. i hope that helps. if i were you... i would buy them from www.ajusa.com but not from the daewoo section, i would write them and ask them. they are aware of the chassis split and have both sets, you just have to make sure you get the right ones :?

good luck delphis

well I wrote them and they haven't returned my email yet, but I called and talked to the folks over at tirerack.com and found the part number is the 21209 and looks like this Image and it is actually the same brake as the leganza. :)

If you don't have the TEVES system, then the pic you posted is the exact shape of the DAC pads we have on our cars.

well now so that everyone knows the exact model numbers

EBC Green Stuff DP 2760 for for the first half of 2000 and earlier

Ebc Green Stuff DP 21209 for all later models

I actually found these brakes at perfectbrakes.com they were listed under the leganze because everywhere you go looking for the lanos it gives you 2760. Hope this helps everyone else out in the future. I ordered these and I will let everyone know how they work out!

the pic you posted is rather small but it is very similar - if not identical - to my pads:
