First Post - Nubira Clutch Master Cylinder

Post by longshanks »

Hey all, have been lurking in these forums for a couple of years now and now I really need some advice!

I own a 1998 Daewoo Nubira CDX and I need a new clutch master cylinder, i live in western australia and the prices ive been quoted for genuine (Holden/GM) and generic MCs have been enormous, around $350. I was wondering what my other options may be, getting spares for daewoos here are almost impossible so i was thinking of visiting a few wreckers to see if any used MCs are available. Is this a good idea or are there inherent problems with such a course of action (ive been told that seals may be a problem).

Anyway guys and gals its good to finally no longer be lurking and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wa-hey the lads!

i'd stay away from used hydraulic parts (brake/clutch master cylinders)

it is a good thing to own a daewoo in Egypt... i just replaced my clutch master cylinder and i bought it for 90LE (16.36USD)... i don't think our LHD setup would fit your car though
