i have noticed that i didn't really mention the correct list of parts required to do this upgrade so here it goes:

front rotors from Daewoo lanos 1.6/Daewoo espero/ Opel vectra A or B
Image

front calipers from Daewoo lanos 1.6/Daewoo espero/ Opel vectra A or B
Image

Master cylinder from lanos 1.6 or nubira 1.6 (only difference is the shape of brake fluid reservoir)
Image

brake pads from lanos 1.6/nubira/espero/opel vectra A or B
Image

note that their are different types of calipers out their for the lanos and espero...

the DAC type:

and for this type you use this type of pads (notice the shape of the ends):

the Teves type:

all opels use the Teves type

There was a question about 17mm vs 19mm pistons. One of the reasons to go with a larger piston is that it supports the pad better. Single piston calipers will often bend the metal backing plates under spirited braking and that will in turn crack the relatively brittle pad material. That can lead to premature pad wear and the linings may break off when they get very thin. In general, I don't worry about the cracks in the middle, but if I had the choice, I would run the largest piston I could. It's also best to have a stainless steel piston vs. a phenolic (plastic) piston when you drive the car hard enough to heat the calipers up. A phenolic will tend to stick in the bore when it's supposed to retract and cause additional heat which eventually leads to a failure. This isn't something to be concerned about in a street car.

well it will vary on whether you go brand new or 2nd hand
Also, MM is in Egypt.

When I did my 1.6 upgrade, it cost me about AU$250 including the calipers, discs, pads and master cylinder
