Sad sad sad...So I think that we better keep the tunning stuff in the spanish secction. We well keep and enjoy better the 1/4 mile times, the new mods and all the tuning stuff. Also, I think that the price for the header is no an important matter to you guys and gals. any way, but by the way is 300.00 w/ shipping, but I think that you prefere to order one to korea for 1k :smt017. Keep the good stickers and wheel cover post.

Noting personal, but is true, the page is changing to a social forum instead of what it suposed to be.

Well maybe this give you more atention to the clutch... if you buy a stage 1 or stage 2 clutch they will send you a sticker of the company so you can put it in the glass of your woos.
:smt075
no need to get all upset about nobody posting....people are allowed to just browse on these forums, but i figured I post on here to make you happy. The clutch looks good

nice. i had the eclutchmaster on my lanos for a while. it's pretty good for moderate power levels, but if you're going built, you might want a get a better one (to anyone building their's up)

as for people not posting... chill out. it's a forum with lots of people who don't look at topics that don't interest them. i don't hardly look at the nubira and leganza posts because i don't own one and have no reason to post. on top of that, a lot of people on this forum are more concerned with looks than performance, and to be honest, that's ok. no one said this is a competition for who can build the biggest and badest woo... it's a community to share information and help one another. i'm sure people who own nubiras and are beefing them up have looked at this and found it a good thread...

i've found it a waste of time because it's you guys complaining instead of being constructive.

final thought: tuning is more than engine performance, and this isn't just a tuning forum anyway

This is al setle People from Spanish section will post in english the same things

as i did with the 2.2 swap

And people from all over te world will try to give their opinion even if they dont know nothing

they should ask. That show the interest on them.

For a sneak peak:

This summer my car will be dyno tested
With AFR graph using Nubira and Leganza ECU's
And for something between september-october Nubira 2.2 Turbo 8)

Back to topic:

I think this clutch upgrade will performe very good

Once you get used to it good times will show on the board

KinKyllama did you notice more wheel spin in gears ?

I dont think so. It's hard to say, I also got a lite weight flywheel and qualife LSD at the same time. The flywheel makes it a bit harder, you cant burn the clutch at all unless your reving above normal. You have to let it out perfectly, fast, and clean.

Hmm, no. I also got a qualife lsd so I actually noticed less.

The clutch pedal is much harder to surpress though. That also took awhile to get used to.

I do track days on road courses and it made a World of difference.. now I feel my car is wayyy underpowered as I dont even have to be smooth, I can just stomp on the gas after the apex of the turn and not lose anything.

I might get 1/4 times with my gtech but who knows, I'll definitly get 0-60mph times though. I'm not a big drag racer.. but I like knowing what my car does in it. So if I can find a safe enough place for a 1/4 I'll do it. But I was making 16sec flat with 17" wheels. Since then I got the new clutch, lsd, 16" wheels that are 14lbs (17s were 19ish), spark wires, and lite flywheel.

Another thing I figured out today with my new clutch/pressure plate that I couldnt do before is leave it in gear and not touch the gas.. in 1st it will cruise at idle which is about 3-4mph without any gas and without stalling. Works very nice for stop-n-go traffic

I'm a little confused.... why do you expect people to reply to a purchase of a clutch?

Are you looking for "support" such as "looks good" or are you expecting people to be excited because it's a new find?

Don't get me wrong.... I'm sure there are guys out there that are interested in where you got it and how much you paid but for someone like myself.... I know of a dozen different clutches for this engine covering everything from stock power to 1000+hp .... so it's not really "interesting" news for me.... most of the time I just pass over these types of posts very quickly in an attempt to find new posts that bring up something I don't allready know.

I do agree that this forum is getting too "social" as most of the good technical posts get burried under loads of posts that have been asked 50 times before.

I suggested some changes and I wanted a pure "technical" area but so far nothing has come of it.

Given the lack of response to my interest in picking up where Tom left off..... I'm tempted to post massive information on where to get parts.

It took me hundreds of hours of research.... but I might as well share the info if there are only a hand full of people interested in modifying their Daewoos.
