ok in the pic below is part number 2 the only part that the lugbolts screw into? it looks like it just wanna make sure. i need to know b/c i wanna start getting parts together.
speaking of hubs (sorry to hi-jack here) but is there a 5 lug hub that is interchangeable with the Lanos/Lemans GSE? I remember you talking about the conversion but I don't remember if you just redrilled your OE hub.
well what will i need exactly for the back as well? can't tell if i just need the drum or the whole assembly. i'm gonna try to get this rolling as quickly as money will allow.
well i just did a quick search and couldn't find too much even tho i know its in here somewhere. whats all involved and what part from which car can i get it from for easily in the states?
Not sure about where in the states. But, if you get similar disks of a dimilar gm car in the states, to the ones i have [off a Vauxhall AStra GTE] All i did was bolt them on where the hubs where and bent the brake lines to suit. Well, when i said i bent them, i didnt, a friend of mine did and they look factory. Sextasic!
Apart from that, all you'll need is a handbrake cable for the disks, and some brake fluid to bleed them. easy peesy. I done mine in about 2 hours, and that was rear disks, rear beam, rear shocks, rear springs and a handbrake cable. Only thing i can think off apart fromt his is, that the beam i used, also off a GTE, had an extra loop for the handbrake cable to go into, and the guy who was helping me, didnt use a GTE beam on his nexia when he done this, and the handbrake cable actually went through on of his rear springs, which was a bit dangerous. So you might hafta fab up a small bracket.
