I'm in the process of replacing my clutch right now and noticed that the U.S. Daewoo Lanos' came with two different clutch assemblies.
One clutch is an 8 1/2inch diameter 24spline/teeth
the other is a 7 7/8inch diameter with 24 spline/teeth
My daewoo has the smaller of the two clutch assemblies. I noticed however that my flywheel would more than likely accept the bigger 8 1/2inch diameter clutch. Anyway, would putting the larger clutch disc in my car be an upgrade?
Also anyone know if the pressure plates or flywheels are any different between the two types?
TIA
8 1/2inch clutch or 7 7/8inch clutch....

take it to a tranny shop most of the time they can just look and do a few messurements and be able to tell you if it can hold a 8 1/2 or not.
