Aveo Drilled And Slotted Rotors

I found this set on ebay....Can anyone tell me if these would be worthit or not (my stock rotors are warped to hell so let me know)! thanks!

What exactly does slotted rotors give you? Is it for gas release or? Cooling? Hmmm Never could figure out how less friction = better stopping power (or at least how it seems when I just kinda think about it)?

hehe it's "light".... "lite" is kinda a buzzword thing used to describe things that are generally not as good. Example: Lite mayonaise is not as good as mayonaise, but is supposed to contain less fat/sugar/etc...

get em... but ask if they can be non-zinc coated. the zinc gets rubbed off in the first 2 days of braking anyway and ends up plugging the pores in the pads to they get smooth instead of rough...

so zinc would be a bad thing then....the reason I ask is because the fact that I thought a brake pad should be smooth not rough, because if it is rough won't it score and scratch the rotor?? or am I totally crazy?

roughness causes friction and thats what you need to stop
