You know the guy well... ignore what he said.
And I am almost 100% sure that even a pro can't brake faster than a good, well set ABS system. It's just impossible.
A blocked wheel goes forward faster than a rolling wheel. Remember of drifting basics, you block the rear wheels, they go faster than the front wheels.
I have seen races between cars with and without abs, and the non-abs always has problems when braking before a turn. The only advantaje of a non-abs car is the little loss of weight
can u put abs on non abs leganza?

the question still stands... how many times does the ABS pulsate per second? does ABD has to work on discs rather than drums??

It's not a fixed number. The abs kicks when one of more wheels are about to block. It knows it when the wheel reduces rotation speed anormally fast. Then, it just decreases braking on that wheel until it regains full grip and then it applies braking force again. It's fast, and the quantity of pulses may vary from 50 to 100 pulses per minute. It doesn't depend on brake type. It should work for both disc and drum brakes.
ABS braking distances may be worse on ice, but in tarmac it sure brakes better than a non-abs car.
