cielo glx clutch change

I have just had the clutch actuation arm on my 96 cielo glx 1.5 DOHC motor and I need to remove the clutch to get the release bearing shaft out of the gearbox. I see that htere is a cover under the box that gives access to the clutch which should make removing the clutch a relativly quick job. As I have not been able to get hold of a shop manual here in Australia can anyone on the forum give me any advice?

Bump!
I had a problem with the clutch on my 96 cielo 1.5 dohc. the car became difficult to select first or reverse and I noticed that the clutch pedal was lower than it used to be, found that the weld on the clutch cable lever was cracked. I welded the lever on the car without removing it but it is going again. I have just got new upper and lower bushes.
I have tried in vain to get a shop manual for the car but had no luck, its not even available from the agents. I searched the forum and found the manuals for the Lanos and nubira but I see that the gearbox no longer has the removable cover under the clutch.
Should I remove the gearbox or is it easier to remove the the main shaft from the gearbox to get to the realease bearing fork that clamps onto the clutch lever?

i think it is easyer to remive the tranny off the car to do the replacment... it will give you better access to all the components and will make throughout inspection to the whole clutch mecanism much easyer.
