i got a question here that i think is a logical thing we got to do when we calibrate the rear brakes.
you all know that their is a 10mm bolt on the hand brake cable that is used to tighten/adjust the rear brakes as well as the hand brakes... is it better to loose this bolt when attempteng to do a calibration job on the rear brakes themselves.
i have got my bolt tightend all the way in and since then every time i have to tighten the hand brake i have to remove the drums to do the calibration on the shoes.
i thing loosining the bolt would take it out of the calibration equasion and give more room for shoe calibration... then when the brakes feel weak again you can use the bolt to tighten things up rather than having to disassemble the rear drums.
what do you think guys? i think it is a logical thing to do, right?
