other than going out and buy a manual lanos is there a way to turn an auto into a stick i know i will have to do alot of work but thats the fun part

they are dificult but ive been know to do wierder things like stick a 13b rotatry from an 85 rx-7 into a 85 suzuki samurai, or 13b rotary in an 87 chevy s-10(as you can tell i love rotaries) i did see a four door lanos like mine on ebay for cheap ant it was a stick but its in conn and im not goin to conn until jan. to see my family and the worst part is its close to waterbury were im going

Transmission, ECU, Clutch/Flywheel, Clutch Pedal, Clutching Wires... entire shift boot adapter and center console... just off the top of my head... you're looking at probably 1-3k depending on the 5 h's ... not to mention, the swap... atleast it's not a tranny of another car where you'd have to custom fab..


However, for 1-3k ... you could probably buy a manual daewoo... with fairly low mileage.
