where is the clutch/gearbox oil inspection/change screw
I have scoured the manual a couple dozen times over and atho it suggest to replace or top up the gearbox fluid every XX km's but for the life of me it dosnt actualy tell u where it is.
its an 2000 Daewoo Lanos SE 1.5L SOHC 5spd Manual.
also does anyone have any idea's why reverse on occasions may be having trouble going in?.
like u pull the lever fully up, and centre the stick then go to the far edge and push up but its like it hits something and dosnt want to go in ?
thanks in advance.

i got the very same engine and tranny as yours and i had to go to the mechanic to check my gearbox oil level.
he went under the car at the front left side for the cheking so i suppose the refill/oil level plug is their somewhere but i don't know the exact location of it.
as for reverse issues it is caused by the mechanism of the connecting rod of the shift stick.
if you pop your hood you will see a metal pole protuding from the mid bottom part of your fire wall, this pole is attached to the shift stick at one side and to the tranny shifting mechanism from the other end by a 12mm bolt... if that bolt is lose then it can cause reverse shift problems, make sure that it is tight.
you got to check for play in the shifting mechanism, if you got that then most probably you need some new bushings... try to get stiffer ones than the OEM.

REMEBER: that plug will be on the side of the tranny case and if you find it and take it off you just need to feel if their is oil up till the hole... you just feel it with your fingure.
needless to say that you got to:
1- do this on flat ground to avoid spilling
2- do it on a cold engine to avoid burning
3- do it with caution 'cause your fingure might get stuch in the hole, in this case we will have to cut it and the remains of your stuck fingure can hurt the gears while driving the car ... no really don't get your fingure stuck.
