buzzing/noisy gear shifter

I drive a nubira CDX with 50k on the clock. At some revs eg ~2k my gear lever seems to vibrate and buzz making a loud noise - at first I thought the noise was from the exhaust. The noise is particularly annoying in gears 1,3, and 5 and not noticeable in gears 2 and 4. If I move the gear shifter slightly from 'side to side' when it is 'noisy' the noise will go away. I have no problems with gear selection. Has anyone had this or a similar problem? Does anyone have any idea as to the best way to cure the problem?

probably something is lose in the shifter mechanism... check the metal pole comming from the fire wall and all the attached links... my mechanic told me that their is a particular 12mm bolt that when comes lose causes a hell of trouble for gear shifting and all so check arround them links and bolts.
