I have a problem with the ABS system, when i pass the 10 km/h or the ABS starts working or when i stop, I hear a rattle coming from the ABS system, this noise can not remember if there ever was, also your Lanos ABS makes the same noise or is it just my problem ? The abs function properly, only problem is that it comes into operation very easily !!!
remove tires and try to see if there is a lot of magnetized dust covering the sensor pick ups.
I fixed a chevy Cavalier that was doing the same thing but 1 of the rear drums. it turned out to be that the brake shoe was very dirty and it was locking up with the slightest pressure over the brake pedal, might a s well look into that too. I brushed the shoe with a SS brush until it looked nice and clean(light color) and done deal!.
Thanks friends, I did clean all the sensors abs, now works a little better, but the noise of the pump remained abs. my mechanic says it's changed the whole abs system, but your lanos make this noise?
hello friends, my problems are now worse, I now have the power outages, with ABS warning light, happens randomly, so I have to turn off the engine by turning the ignition key to the ON position and re-starting the engine, i'm go happens again the power outage.
