Aveo and lanos front rotors

Post by MMamdouh »

does the 1.6 aveo and 1.6 lanos share the same front rotors??

i am considering a brakes upgrade and might get the 1.6 lanos braking system on my 1.5 but i want to make sure that when i need new rotors i can go to a Chevy spare part shop and get a set of aveo rotors and they will fit my upgraded lanos... anyone knows??

I can't say for sure but I think the Lanos 1.6L rotors and Aveo 1.6L rotors are the same...... I think the standard 1.5L rotors are smaller than the 1.6L.... I could be wrong.... converting to 1.6L size may require the 1.6L calipers if there is a difference in rotor diameter.

If I get a chance I will try and dig up some specifications on the Kalos/Aveo rotors to compare ( diameter, thickness )

the 1.5 brakes setup is smaller indeed as far as the rotor and caliper.

the upgrade i am beeing offered includes both front struts with springs, shocks, rotors and calipers... basicly a full front suspension without control arm so i will bet a full brakes package and a bit stiffer/stronger front suspension.

i know for sure that the nubira rotors will not fit even though they are the same diameter... the aveo ones looks similar but visual similarty is not enough.

if some one knows of an opel model that have same rotors as a 1.6 lanos then this could help too... we got lots of support for opels here.

1.5 Aveo and 1.6 Lanos rotors are the same rotors and both are the same rotors on a daewoo spero and 1.6/2.0 opel vectra A & B

If that's the case, then they're the same as nexia 1.5 brakes and astra 1.8/2.0 brakes.

They dont fit under 13" wheels, right? Well at least they dont on mine because of the calipers.

Yeah they're the same as my disks and calipers, which are the same as Astra GTE ones. :)

correction: the 1.5 aveo got the same rotrors as the 1.5 lanos (236mm rotors) but they don't share pads

the 1.6 aveo shares the same rotors as the 1.6 lanos and espero
