Ideas for my aveo Tranny

Hi everyone!! hey i need some tips of all the daewoo owners i can get!!. I want to work on my aveo 4-speed auto tranny, to swap to a 5-speed manual tranny... Is it a good idea? how much $ we talking about? any tips? anyone done this b4!?!?! Plz help!! thanks!! -alex-

just keep it how it is now... automatic is still good...
its a BIG job, its not like u need to get a tranny and ur good... trust me its not worth it

in here - Egypt - this is done frequently when them auto tranny cause too much trouble... beeing worth or not depends on your needs and driving style as well as how much are you willing to spend

as buddha put up the thread. just as ive been told you basically need a full donor car.
as there are many many parts. and only attempt this is you have the time and space+money. if not, then dont do it.

The swap would probably end up costing you more than the resale value of the car is worth in the end. No offense, I drive an aveo too.
