Re: Brake in Lanos
Are you trying to ask what kind of brake upgrades are available for the Lanos, or how to change the brakes?

Re: Brake in Lanos
you are one step ahead of me man
i already done the front brake upgrade on my lanos and my front rotors are the same ones that are used on vectra... i recon at this point you will have to go custom kits if you want more brakes on the front or perhaps get high performance rotors of the same measurements from EBC or so
Note: make sure you are using the master brake cylinder marked 22 rather than the one marked 20 or else you will have elongated pedal travel, te 22 master is found on daewoo nubira
for the rear... i was going to get the same brake components last week but i got stuck at work and i will probably get them this weekend

Re: Brake in Lanos
Going back to the original question, the easier upgrade for you would be 288mm front rotors/calipers from Vectra. If you plan on keeping current brakes, try some drilled or slotted front rotors with some pads from higher shelf - sport version.SerUkraine wrote:Hello. I am from Ukraine. MMamdouh => the canadian version Lanos came with 3 front brake types:
- Teeves (spellin?)
- DAC
- ATE
Disc rotor, for all, is 236mm. If your car is using 256mm stock, leave the stock pv's.
posts related to MMamdouh's rear disc conversion are split into new topic:

Re: Brake in Lanos
nice work man... that is my second step in brakes upgrade but i won't do it until i do some serious HP upgrade (engine swap or turbo) as my current setup is good enough for the current power level
