Why does my Air conditioner smell?

Why does my Air conditioner smell?

Everytime I put my air on it smells like a wet towel or sweat????? Is there something I can change???

it must be a lanos... right?

if it is then this is because lanoses got no A/C filter and dead tree leaves accumilates in the A/C system by time then when you turn it on the condinsation water makes the leaves rot or something and that causes the small

you can remove the bottom cover of your A/C assembly to clean it up but i got to arn you... this is anything but a plesant job, you got som 15 screws in the most tight positions you can imagen that you gotta remove then put back and it will be easyer to do so after removing the passenger seat to make room for your body to lay down their.

My friend drives a 80 some F-150 and we call it "The Pancake" cause the heater smells like pancakes.... Just thought i would share.

where does the A/C get its air intake from ? is it possiable to place a home-made filter in front of it ?

air gets sucked from the vents at the bottom of the wiper arms... you will be able to see the grills on top of the firewall.

some dude actually did just that but the instructions were in some foregin language and i didn't understand a single word... just saw a couple of pics.
