i just bought a sunbird gt turbo engine and I have 10 000 bucks i want to put it in my daewoo lanos, but i want to rebuild it! different turbo, forged pistons, lighter crank, or does anybody have a better idea for my lanos? Opinions are appreciated!!!!

it all depends on what you want. do yo just want a fun every day car or a race only car? there are a lot of variables.

Instead of having the turbo can you run that engine without it and what motor mount doyou need for the front, can my transmissmision bolt up or doi need the sunbird tranny, my car isan auto, I don't think that i can get insured because i only have one arm, >?

motor mounts: you will need the mounts from the 89-90 pontiac lemans gse (2.0)/ 89-90 passport optima gsi. if you cant find these then i can make you a custom mount (right-front on the chasis) i'm not sure how the top tranny mount bolts up, you should be able to visually compair.

transmissmision: the tranny should give you not trouble in either sitiation. you can use the tranny that came in the woo or you can use the sunbird tranny. i'd try and stick with the woo tranny if it's an auto like you want.

the motor: youe can use the C20GET without the turbo but there's no reason to do the swap otherwise. if you pull the turbo off the motor then it having 8.5:1 compression would leave you with less horsepower then the 1.6 16v motor that's in the car now.
