It'll probably be a TD04L turbo. $150 is a good price - check it for shaft play and for any leaks, etc. If its from a 2006 model with 8k miles you'd hope it's still in good condition!!!
TD04L should be internally wastegated at 6-7psi (and should still be good up to around 18psi before it starts getting outside its efficiency...). 6-7psi with the right supporting modifications should be fine on stock internals i reckon.
I was spooling the TD04 quickly on a 1.5L SOHC, so it'll start boosting very early on the 2.2L but probably be a little breathless at high rpm. It'll still work very well - very smooth but you wont get so much of a turbo kick like you would with a bigger turbo, itd be smooth like NA power i believe - so it depends on your driving style too i guess...
If it was me i'd hold back and keep looking a good sized T3 (or a VF-39 ) for the 2.2L - gives you more scope for the future (which you'll need ).

i was reading that it is capable of moving 400cfm for 200hp 300cfm are needed
remember that turbo comes stock on a 2.5L engine
for the price im really into it
for a stage 1 turbo kit is good
later bigger turbo will come with forged internals
i will see the turbo next weeckend in some Solo1 event the guy will be there
i will chek for shaft play and oil leaks
