Head kit for Lanos/Aveo

Post by xiaogary »

Any performance head kit for Lanos or Aveo?
I need some springs of higher rate and some intake & exos valves of harder material which can withstand high rev.

I am afraid to burst my head if the spring breaks when I high rev the machine.

contact catcams.be , they seam to have quite a lot of parts for the big block and small block motors for N/A builds. they also have dealers all over the world. ...I'm looking into becoming their US dealer :D

You may want to contact QED out of UK. I suspect the valvetrain of Lanos/Aveo may be shared with X16XEV family of motors. This statement is based on the fact that C20LET dual valve springs are a direct fit for the X20XEV and T20SED motors. If you send them info with regards to the dimensions and current spring rate of your valve springs, they might be able to match something up for you.

I contacted them before early this year. Its confirmed different. I sent my 1.6 lanos camshafts to UK to grind. Comapred with x16xe and c16xe, they were different. Wanted to use the adjustable viener pulley also cannot. Different mounting and different number of teeths.
