So you have like, real drag slick tires?
Is that real street concrete or drag concrete?
How much weights your car?

It's imposible that you have the same start in the first gear like impreca WRX on real tires and real street...

Here, I was racing against audi S3 with 4x4 and about 13.8s 1/4 mile, but on real street concrete on plain summer street tires..

You can see, that S3 with 4x4 just jumps ahead and I'm caching it all the way for next 300m until I passes it before 1/4 mile mark...
So, I think I could run like 13.0s on race tires.. I will try it next summer, buy the racing tires like toyo R888 and go in to the mid 12s... My car is about 1200kg..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EMxOsEKkOc

That screaaaming tires you hear on the start are mine Pirelli P-Zero Nero 195/45-R16.. So I loose like 1s on the start..

So, at the end, what pistons did you use? If you put a little bigger head from 1.6 16V?

And what about static compression ratio?

What about traction? What tires do you ride?
i´m using stock pistons from 1.5 8v beacuse the compression ratio is lower (8.6.1) than stock 1.5 16v (9.5.1).

the compression ratio is 7.5.1 using a metallic gasket.

at the dragway im using drag slicks M&H rece masters tires, and in the street im using nexxen 205/45/17 radials
You have really nice start. Just like 4x4 wrx.. :)

I will make a traction control for my car, because I don't have traction true first 2 gears... First Gear, tires are screaming, and in second gear it's looseing traction also... In the third gear it's swinging on the road.. So I have like trouble controling the car from zero to like 80mph..

That MH you have is damn good tires! 8)

It's imposible to buy that kind of tire in my country... Only Toyo R888 and yokohama advan a048 witch both are semi slick (street legal racing tires)...

Also minimum rim I can put on my brakes is 15''... I got big breaks...

Did you try measuring the 1/4mile time on street legal tires and real streets?

I wonder how much seconds you will loose without MH and drag stripes (concrete)?

HELP NEEDED

Post by aZkM »

Sir I have the same motor G15MF lying around (along with a A15MF DOHC head and ECM with wiring) and I want to turbocharge it like you did. Could you please guide me about the steps you did for turbocharging. Please also mention electronics (like map sensor etc.)

Anxiously waiting for your response.

Thanks and Regards.
