Cost of the gearbox was 350 GBP = about $700 CAD, it has 77k miles and seller claims it is in good condition with no crunches or whining.

Shipping is another 161 GBP including insurance

So total cost should be around $1020 CAD to my door, provided I don't get slapped with some extra duties or tax.
Good pricing! You'd probably have a hard time getting a D20 shipped to you from the US (for example) for that price.

I got charged $85usd at most for customs into the US. It may have been allot less though, I just know that's the most I've ever been charged by customs for importing stuff.

That's a fantastic price. You'd be lucky to get one here for 400GBP. Emphasis on lucky

As a quick note, remember the F28 uses very special gearbox oil. I posted the link a while back for Kinky, but I am sure it is still here somewhere.

Really? I was thinking of using the Motul Gear 300 fully synthetic, I've had some great results with that.

F28 has arrived to my door.... $87 in taxes, not too bad. I unpacked and everything apears to be in good shape! I'll get some pics soon.

Yeah and it's not too cheap either. The best place to get it is the Saab dealership. Do a search on the forum and you should find it

Hahahha the Prius comment, was mostly related to how the back of the car looks covered with snow. The contour almost looks like the back of a Prius.

The emissions certainly aren't Prius-like lol.

After the storm:

Another few photos from this morning, when I had to dig out and goto work (on the driver's side the snow was almost up to the windows!)...... took me 1.5 hrs to wipe it off and actually get out of my residential street. Got stuck no less than 8 times........ lowered car after a snowstorm FTL!!.
