YES! i'm very glad to see this picture having never seen one.

i had suspected that they were the same but it's good to see.

the gasket will work and give you a max bore of 88mm. what is the bore on the 1.8?

you should put a 2.0 or 2.2 bottom end in there and make it a torque monster!
you should at least consider a 2.2 throtle body.

hey man yeah  but till now I just want to put the turbo in and pay off my loan at the bank and then will start from there.

But I'm considering the 2.2 throttle body, except the 2.2 throttle can't be find hear or maybe from a crashed Leganza but not the verona (Epica) cuz here it's a 2.0.

But is it a direct fit to the Optra?

it's a direct fit. i'll see what i spent on it and get back to you.

in the meantime take a picture of the one you have and get a measurement if you can so we can see if it's worth the money to you.

sorry i wasn't able to get you an exact compression difference, wasn't for lack of effert.
being as you're about rebuild you motor, you measure 'deck volume' for future refference.

None...its the same as our 2.0 tb. The 1.8l might be smaller though I'm not sure. But I know on all other woos the 2.0 has a bump in it that messes with the airflow which is why allot of people do the 2.2 tb. I know my forenza and few others I've talked to does not have that bump.
