mocpac, y are u talking the engine apart? the pistons that u bought are much better than factory ones?

yes, But Im working with the internals just because a pass a flood and damage the engine. You can run a turbo application with stock internals for a wild.

but if u want more boost u need to change what? only pistons?

the manifold from Greenbluewoo.

and if you want a lot more of boos you will need forged pistons and rod check the other post in this sectio and you will see.

If you wanna up the boost a lot, you'd be best going for forged internals, ie, forged pistons and steel rods, securing them with arp bolts [as garrett told me, its not usuall the rods themselves that break, its the bolts holing the caps together]. After that you MUST get fueling right, aftermarket ecu or piggy back, dual stage fpr, injectors, etc. And aswell, a large intercooler would be the dogs danglies as you dont want intake temps being too high as it could detonate fa easier at higher temperatures.

it wont work any different than a big ticket piece. the one on the nubi I just got was from an air compressor. :)

Still here. The engine block is still in the machine shop. They call me today so probably I will have it back this week. So for now some update of the pics. get some 450cc g2 injectores. The apex neo. Well I have all I just need time and the engine back.

at last. Have the engine bloq. back. balanced and cleaned new bronze water seals and ready to start.

The oversize pistone fit perfectly. They are like 1mm lower that the OEM for this engine but in this case that is good.

AS we spected already, the T3/T4 was to big for this manifold. Hit the bloc as you can see. So the manifold will be modified tomorrow with 1.5 extention to the pipes. Yes, I will keep the t3/t4.
