Thanks! - The setup is exactlyas you described it...a mechanical lever with an external slave cylinder bolted right on the gearbox. This is standard from the factory - no modifications. The slave cylinder packed up some time ago and I got the complete unit from daewooSA for round R450.00. My original gearbox mos died so I replaced it with a brand new import Opel gearbox F18. The ratios are slightly longer than my original gearbox. I believe the original box was in fact not an F20 but a F16 box - if you compare the spiked shaft, mechanical lever and its bushes it is exactly the same as an OpelF16????

I have done 1000KM now on the new motor and red lined it today at 8.7PSI(low boost)...feels nice and the Opel Calibra looking for trouble on the freeway ate my dust (quite a bit stronger than before) :D :D :D Now to change to full synthetic oil....run it on low boost for another 1000 to 2000KM and then remap at 23PSI - I cannot wait :D :D :D
Nothing is impossible....it just costs more!!!!\

The new motor is good, re checked compression about 1 week ago...... its actually higher than when i first put it in, 190psi across all 4 cyl. I might go to the dynojet after the trans is in.

Cool keep us posted. I am currently rumming the Woo on 8PSI boost (low) and it feels nice and strong. I have done 1200KM so far and all is well. Another 800KM and I will crank it up to 15PSI for another 1000KM and then have it remapped for 25PSI :D :D

It ran 202KW and 346NM on the wheels @ 0.8bar :D Before the rebuild it made 195KW and 325NM @ 0.9bar..... so it seems I have done something right :smt026
