Question about turbos

Post by mocpac »

I'm confuse, the TO3 turbo is biger than the t25 or not? For a 2.0l (nubira) which one is better?

A friend of mine told be that if I use a t25 for my 2.0l the turbo lag will be bigger. And I will need to be a 3000 revolutions to get the turbo work. True of false? :?:

a T3 is generally larger than a T25. A T25 usually is an easily spooled turbo so I don't think you'd have much lag.

My T3 starts pushing from exacly 3000 RPM which I consider to be just perfect, couse when I want to drive economically I just stay under that RPM range :)

Hmm that good but if you moe a to3 with a lanos 1.6 at 3k problably I will move it in 2k with my 2.0 (maybe I'm wrong). But your point is exclent. thank to both.

i hear that the 2.0 has a perfect bore and stroke for a larger turbo and spools them up fast enough with little to no lag

Yeah i think the t03 from garret is a perfect turbo for the nubie, or even a t3/t4 hyrbid. I am using a t3 on ym nubira
