Yes.... you heard me correclty 241BHP naturally aspirated 1.6L.

From the graph it seems this power was made around 9200 RPM..... yes.... you heard me right..... the engine revs up into the 10,000 RPM range.... and you can buy the parts to make yours do the same.

Want to know more about all the race parts you can get for your 1.6L ?????

Ok.... start here.... http://www.sbdev.co.uk/Main.htm

Then you click on the "Vauxhall" link in the top center of the page (just above a race engine)

Then click on "1.6L Taper Throttle Kits" mid way down the page just under a picture of a race engine

Here is where they said that they managed to increase the power from 109BHP to 164BHP by adding just the taper throttle kits

Then you can click on the various "kits" in yellow to see all the cool parts you can order for your 1.6L

Pistons, cams, valvetrain, adjustable cam gears, dry sump kit, steel crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, aftermarket engine management system.....

Here is the pricelist........ http://www.sbdev.co.uk/Price_List/Price%20list.pdf

Hmmmm.... they made 292BHP at roughly 8300RPM on a C20XE

Cool..... they make an external trigger wheel... about 110 GBP.... that would be great for converting C20GET engines over to DIS ignition.

Do these 1.6L kits also the same 1.6L in the Daewoo Gentra platform? The Aveo and Kalos??

Seems at just looking that it may be somewhat different, but YOU Chris are the expert.... Let me know?
