HELP: best way to advance ignition timing

should i go with the MSD DIS-2 or buy a piggyback? which one is least difficult to put on? if you say piggyback which one should i go with? all i want to do is advanced the ignition timing so if you have any other idea let me hear em. my car is a 2004 suzuki forenza 2.0

what are you trying to do?

could it be done with cam timing? if so QED offers a set of adjustable cam gears for abour $250-$300

i saw where u posted that info. did you buy those? u said u had to do a mod for the cam sensor. what did u do for that? im putting a water/methanol injection kit on my car...i need to advance the timing to get max results from it :]

they offer a kit that needs no mods. i don't have a set. i'm working with AEM to create a kit state side but that may take some time.

you can order through email but i would wait and see what some of the others say. this post is only a couple minute old and i'd for you to spend that money if there is a less expensive route.

i have to wait anyway cuz i dont have alot of money right now. lol. but yea i just want to find the best and somewhat cheapest way to do this. :)

I'm just starting to look into them...no idea on time yet. Trying to get all the other products we started out first.

the easiest way to advance ignition it to put something like this http://jethro.viket.net/spark.html

it is easy to find in any LPG/CNG service for a few bucks ;)

sounds good! where can i get one of those things? order one from that link u posted? how many degrees can i advance using this thing? i have a 04 suzuki forenza 2.0L so which one do i order?

I don't know where you came from but in europe it is very easy to buy. almost any workshop that convert engines to be powered by LPG/CNG gas has it.
