fuel symptoms

hey guys just wondering what are the symptoms for a bad fuel filter? the throttle does not respond once boost is induced and i've checked and changed spark plugs,also checked vac hoses, air filter, exhaust leak(big),check my MAP sensor, from just regular driving to out of a sudden car cant take boost,you can run on low throttle as long as boost doesn't come on, but after no response. any suggestions? thanks
