i had a 92 daewoo racer in midle east and now i'm in tornoto and having a lanos HB.. my mechanic says that this engine (1.6 L) wont last long more then 200 k.
iz it worthed to put turbo on da stock engine or anyone has a better suggestion to changin da engine to something that can handle the turbo..

If he said that, your mechanic is full of rancid donkey poo. A mild boost won't shorten the life of the engine if everything is done properly during the conversion and you make sure to change the oil regularly and do the necessary maintenance as needed.
