propane injection works great on Diesel but I've heard mixed reactions for use on Gasoline engines.
Turbo engines are ok because the Propane decreases the allready higher than normal intake charge temperature but I wouldn't suggest using it on a naturally aspirated vehicle unless you have a real pro do the work for you.
What sometimes happens with N/A engines is if your propane injection makes the intake air temperature too low the gasoline won't fully vaporize and your air/fuel ratio becomes unstable.
Basicly you can't turn on the Propane injection until the car is nice and hot.
If you start it when cold you will end up leaner (doesn't fully vaporize) at the start and as the engine warms up it will go rich (full atomization of fuel)
I've also heard good results if you can manage to fire a high speed jet of propane at the center of the intake valve... it cools the valve and helps pull air into the cylinder if you do it right.
Of course this type of modification should really be done by profesionals that specialize in propane injection to ensure that you don't damage your engine.
